EcoKids kick off their season with sponsorship of Altofts F.C

EcoKids fundraising sponsorship helps local sports club

Nathan Jarvis, 1st team player for Altofts F.C, recently approached EcoKids with an exciting sponsorship opportunity after hearing how the project has helped a few of the teams within the club with fundraising.

This sponsorship opportunity not only benefits Altofts FC in providing them with much needed support but also enables EcoKids to promote their service to sports club fundraising, highlighting that the clothes recycling scheme isn’t just designed for schools.

Marketing & PR Executive of EcoKids, Samantha Jarvis, is very excited about the sponsorship.

“We’ve worked with Altofts FC for a couple of years now where a few of their junior teams have collected several tonnes of unwanted clothing to raise money and help with the sports club fundraising. We have also supported them through other sponsorship events. It is even more rewarding now to be able to support the team as they start the new season with the sponsorship and it looks like they have already got off to a flying start! We’d like to wish the team the very best of luck and look forward to helping them with their fundraising over the coming months, with continued support and clothes recycling collections”

Terry Gill, First Team Manager and coach of Altofts FC, is delighted that EcoKids are combining forces with the team to help them even more.

“We at Altofts FC are extremely pleased to be linking with EcoKids in this way. We are a large and well established club with an influx of new and young players and feel that we have a responsibility to support such causes as EcoKids and their effort to recycle and create a better environment for us all. We hope to continue our partnership and promote this worthwhile cause in the future.”

The EcoKids Textile Recycling Project is specifically aimed at schools, clubs and youth organisations to raise money through clothes recycling. As well as raising money for school and clubs, the project helps raise awareness of clothes recycling, educates children on the importance of recycling, helps divert a large amount of textile waste from landfill sites and helps deprived families from around the world with affordable clothing.
